Reviving Sunnah by Hijama

Hijama (cupping) is considered as the Best of Medicines by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). During the night journey (Meraaj) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him), group of angels on every sky asked the Prophet (PBUH) to establish Hijama.

Holy Prophet himself did Hijama and recommended its use on the entire Muslim Ummah. So, HIJAMA is Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh) and Alhumdulillah we perform it the Sunna way.

Hijama Philosophy – How it works

Hijama is a process of purifying the blood. It has the unique ability to pull up toxins, inflammation, stagnant blood, dead cell from deep within the body to the surface of the skin and then draw it out through tiny light scratches on the skin. This relieves muscle tension, increases blood circulation allowing fresh blood , nutrients and oxygen to penetrate the area breaking the cycle of pain, promote cell repair, form new connective tissues and also form new blood vessels in the tissues. These two processes , the removal of toxins and increase in blood flow cures the illness from its roots .

Other harmful substances such as cholesterol, uric acid, calcium deposits, rheumatoid factors are also removed through Hijama.

How Hijama is done

Practically Hijama is done by applying plastic disposable cups on your skin where vacuum is created in a cup that pulls the muscle into the cup and therefore accumulate the blood on the skin surface (Dry Cupping). After a few minutes the cup is removed, and small incisions are placed. Once again, the cup is installed at the same location to draw out the stagnant blood. This technique helps us to remove toxic blood, acids, and excess fluid from the body. (Wet Cupping)
